Flax weaving with Angela

For the Maori it is a very spiritual practice, this weaving, there are prayers and invocations and blessings involved in various stages, I am grateful to Angela who is an amazing teacher for walking me through this. Although quite rewarding in the end this was one of the more patience testing activities of the last 2 weeks, i wanted to rip out my hair and throw the half woven basket in the fire.
